We are a community-based team founded on 15th September 2023 in Tororo District, Eastern Uganda. What began as a small dream shared by a few determined young men has grown into a symbol of hope, unity, and ambition for our community.
The club started with just five players — Kelvin Moses Wekesa, Munialo Peter, Adhola Eric Mich, Otimong Abraham, and Shadat Muhammed.
Under the guidance of their steward and tactician, Coach Abdallah Kabwaago (Aka Coach Abu), they trained for the first time on 23rd September 2023, in heavy rain that did not dampen their spirit. That moment of endurance became the heartbeat of our club — a reminder that resilience builds champions.
From no kits, no sponsors, and no fan base, Adhola Simbwori FC grew through discipline, commitment, and belief. Recruitment was based purely on hard work and character, not fame or influence. Over time, our playing style and sportsmanship attracted loyal supporters who now proudly stand behind the team at every game.
"To become the number one football club in Eastern reagion and uganda at large on and off the field."
Adhola Simbwori FC aims to be the leading football club in uganda, both in terms of on-field performance and overall football development.
" The mission is to develop, promote, and protect young football talent.''
Club's mission is to ensure that young talent is given the opportunity to thrive in the region. This includes developing players into professional players with the right basics taught.
"CYEM MA NYENI"
Which means New Joy / Happiness
In 2024, Adhola Simbwori FC made history by winning the Tororo District 5th Division League, earning promotion to the 4th Division after a remarkable season.
That same year, our striker Kelvin Wekesa finished as the league’s top scorer with seven goals, while captain Owen Isabirye led the team with integrity and passion.
The club later moved its home ground to UCC Ground, upgraded its equipment, and began preparing for higher competition under the leadership of CEO Abdallah Kabwaago, assisted by Ochieng Geofrey as club manager and treasurer. Geofrey, being a clinical officer, also helps the club as the club doctor.
In 2025, Adhola Simbwori FC proudly entered the Tororo District 4th Division League, representing the resilience and growth of grassroots football in Eastern Uganda.
Adhola Simbwori FC is more than a team — it’s a movement that changes lives.
We counsel and mentor young people, helping them stay away from harmful habits and focus on building purposeful lives. Parents across the community now celebrate the club for shaping disciplined, respectful, and inspired youth.
Through every training session, every goal, and every victory, we stand for one message:
“With discipline and unity, dreams can grow from the smallest beginnings.”
