Born to the late Mrs Jesca Ouma and the late Thomas Wekesa in Amagoro A cell in Tororo Municipality. Wekesa started his football career journey with BOCCA Junior Soccer academy in Kenya in 2012. He joined this academy while attending his Primary School in Malaba Township during his stay with his uncle in Kenya.
No one took Wekesa to the academy but because he had passion for football, he would pass by the academy training grounds daily after classes are done and watch the training because he did not have money to subscribe to the academy. As time went, he became a ball boy at the academy and gradually got the opportunity to train with the rest of the academy boys. He gave all that was needed while at the training sessions and improved each day hence becoming coach’s favorite boy. This boosted his football career start a lot the fact that Kelvin became an orphan at the age of 4 years old.
After finishing Primary School level Kevin still had a long way to go as far education was concerned. He now needed to attend secondary level despite the fact that he was an orphan with no much financial support.
While playing a friendly game for BOCCA junior academy he caught attention of the crowd and it was his blessing in disguise, he meets Mr. Abdalla Kabwaago who is a staunch sports lover, currently the director/ proprieter Adhola Simbwori Football Club who got interested to understand who Kel5vin was and upon hearing more about him, he became a guardian to him and as time went on, Mr. Abdalla took Kelvin for trials in St Paul High School in Kenya which he passed very well and therefore had free schorlarship. He became one of the best players while at high school, captained the school team in 2022 and 2023 and won awards for best player both at county and regional level in 2023 post primary games while at the school.
After Form four class in 2023 Kevin came back and settled in Uganda where he joined Adhola Simbwori Football Club which was playing fifth division in Tororo District. He became the most valuable player for the club and emerged as the top scorer for Tororo District Fifth Division League scoring 17 goals.
Wekesa’s dream is play professional football and whenever asked does not hesitate saying Trent Arnold Alexandre is his role model internationally.

Revival Secondary School in Budaka offers him a place under full bursary where he was two times champions in post primary at district level.
St. Paul High School in Budaka showed high interest in him and being a school that has always participated in nationals he was easily lured to make a cross over. He won at Budaka District level and lost in the finals at regional level in the year 2019.
After Covid 19 Kasure did not go back to St. Paul, instead his childhood coach, Mr. Oundo took him to Tororo Town College (TTC) where he won at district level and lost in the finals at the regional level in 2023, he also played for Tororo Progressive Academy in 2024 in the Uganda Secondary Schools’ Sports Association (USSSA) games and took the school to national held at Masaka in 2024.
